Position Summary: As part of our continuous growth, we are currently looking for a Storekeeper to manage our inventory and perform motor and equipment repairs in our Wall Township yard.
- Manage inventory and orders in designated yard
- Maintain strong relationships with new and existing vendors
- Perform repairs to small motors and parts associated with light equipment that are used in the field for underground utility construction
- Maintain condition of shop, inventory, and tools
- Assemble and service construction equipment
- Ensures proper stock levels and conducts cycle counts
Competencies
- Must have strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Proficient with excel and Microsoft office products
- Three to five years of related storekeeper/repair experience in similar role
- Ability to repair small engine parts and equipment of like sort
- Previous experience working for a construction company in a related role i.e. underground utility, heavy construction
- Experience with Inventory control procedures – receiving, ordering, freight handling
